I can't believe the calendar has turned to March. February went by so quickly even though we have been stuck in the deep freeze and have gotten snow almost each week! I'm hoping spring comes soon around here!
This week we'll be celebrating Dr. Seuss' birthday as well as finishing up a penguin unit. After reading chapters one and two of Worksheets Don't Grow Dendrites I changed my culminating activity. My kiddos will work in "families" to create a poster to highlight all they've learned during this unit! I'm so excited to see what they come up with!
To celebrate Dr. Seuss' birthday I stopped at Party City and got a ton of Dr. Seuss stuff that I'm going to use to create a bulletin board to celebrate Dr. Seuss and showcase my kiddos work! Can't wait to get started.
Here are my plans for the upcoming week... click the plans for the links to resources I'm using this week!
I'm exited to use these interactive notebook pages I created for the new skills I'll be introducing this week. I love that each activity is tied to a page in the pack that introduces the concept. After introducing the concept on one side of the journal my kiddos will apply their learning to an activity on the other side of the notebook pages. I'm hoping we're successful with these pages this week and then I'll upload them to my TPT store.
Have a great week!
Be sure to check out Mrs. Wills Kindergarten to see what others will be doing this week!
